Being Born Again Through Death

Last month, our coven conducted a rebirth ritual.

There is a theme and it is heavy to most people: death.

This does not necessarily mean literal death

In the western culture, death is taboo. All commercialism points to being younger and staying younger because nothing “great” happens after the age of twenty-five, right?

In our ritual and practice last month, we speak of death as the end of a journey or occurrence we are going through.

The death of my brother, while certainly an actual death, is also an end to many things in my life as an adult.

Can you think of a time where the death of a situation was needed? What was your experience?
